System40 Update: 09-19-2024

By admin | 9:03 AM EDT, Thu September 19, 2024

NOTE: Going forward, you may see items referenced as "Internal App" with an identifier.  These are for applications and sites that are used internally by REC and do not have general public access.

Recoded, transitioned and reset certificates for the web UI related command line scripts for the functionality used to define, build and make visible, the log files used by Playout ONE Pro  for Delmarva FM & FM Riverton.  Changes were made to Playout ONE File Copy to reflect the new location of generated log files.

Performed housecleaning in the recnet.net DNS zone:

Removed DNS entry for toronto.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for old.recnet.net - used as a part of a previous system transition.

Updated DNS and certificate for lp250.recnet.net - This is a redirection script to the LP250 channel search tool which was previously transitioned to the Toybox.

Removed DNS entry for fh.recnet.net - Originally intended for a system that would be used to determine "foothill effect" restrictions that were proposed in RM-11810.  An application was built for the Toybox and therefore this subdomain for a standalone application was not needed.

Updated DNS entry for Internal App N02 - Recoding postponed as this is not a day one critical service.

Removed DNS entry for vm.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for otp.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for faq.recnet.net - Once used for the standalone knowledge base application, this traffic was previously fully transitioned to the FAQ pages on the recnet.com Drupal 7 and now Drupal 10 sites.

Removed DNS entry for m.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for st.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for akane.recnet.net - Related to a previous server transition.

Removed DNS entry for cdbs.recnet.net - Related to a previous server transition.

Removed DNS entry for cluck.recnet.net - discontinued project.

Removed DNS entry for api.recnet.net - No API endpoints ever used this subdomain.  All API endpoints are still running on Legacy and will be transitioned later.

Removed DNS entry for hardcorej.recnet.net - Previously used for Hardcore J (now J1 Radio).

Removed DNS entry for hcj.recnet.net - Previously used for the internal functions to manage the playlists and weekly music charts on J1 Radio.  This functionality was already transitioned to System40.

Updated code and transitioned Internal Application N03 to System40.
